Bio

In 1988, at age 8, I spent a week out of school on the set of Hairspray. I met Ricki Lake and my first drag queen. The singer/actor Vitamin C (Colleen Fitzpatrick) who played “Amber” promised to take me to her prom. She did not.

My grandfather was Don DeFore, who starred on shows like “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet” for which he was nominated for an Emmy, “Hazel,” which was the #1 show in America during its first season. He also co-starred in over 30 films along side Ronald Reagan, Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin, and Charlton Heston. He was the president of the Television Academy and has a star on the Walk of Fame.

My cousin Sean Welch was nominated for an Oscar for the documentary “Spellbound” for which he also won an Emmy.

My oldest brother Justin worked for the visual effects studio that produced the first Matrix movie. He also worked on a half dozen other films.

I love TV and film and it’s in my blood.
